With 692,920 outpatient cases and 152,693 inpatient cases a year, Charité treats more patients than any other university hospital in Germany and, as a result, is able to draw on a wealth of experience and expertise. As a tertiary care institution, Charité is able to offer treatments for a diverse range of medical conditions. The hospital comprises approximately 100 different clinics and departments covering the entire spectrum of modern medicine.
