Greifswald University Hospital has its origins in the founding of the university on 17 October 1456, when the Faculty of Medicine was also established. Today, Greifswald University Hospital encompasses a wide range of services in which 21 clinics/policlinics, 19 institutes and other central facilities work together. The facilities are grouped together at Campus Beitz Platz. This enables an efficient infrastructure. Innovative, interdisciplinary work is lived practice here.
