Prof. Elizabeth Valdés-Miranda Fernández of the University of Havana
She will be presenting her take on the how international law considerations have been useful in tackling climate change concerns. She will be providing a unique perspective of Cuba’s position in international climate change considerations.
With the recent devastation felt by Hurricane Ian in Cuba, it is clear that Cuba has felt the impacts of climate change and extreme climate-induced weather phenomena first hand. Join us for an interesting discussion and an opportunity to hear one-of-a-kind accounts of Cuba’s climate mission.
