The canton of Lucerne is therefore looking for pilot projects in the areas of climate protection, climate adaptation and energy in collaboration with the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Projects from all fields of action can be submitted.

The new call for proposals supports companies, organizations, start-ups and municipalities in initiating sustainable solutions to tackle the challenges of climate change in the canton of Lucerne. The pilot projects are intended to facilitate the transfer of knowledge from research to practice and accelerate the application of new innovative technologies. An independent jury of experts from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, the cantonal administration and other organizations will review the submitted project ideas and select the most convincing projects. The jury will assess the projects according to the extent to which they contribute to achieving the cantonal climate targets, are innovative, feasible and sustainable and have a high development potential.
