PostDoc position in synthesis and evaluation of novel contrast agents

Based on recent observations with novel contrast agents designed in our laboratory, the aim of the project is to further improve these compounds with respect to their systemic delivery. The project consists of the synthesis, in vitro, and in vivo evaluation of novel compounds in collaboration with senior scientists in our laboratory.

PhD in synthetic organic chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, or medicinal chemistry, or a related discipline. The candidate will be expected to learn new techniques and develop new avenues of research. The successful candidate should have a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry, click chemistry, peptide synthesis and polymer synthesis. The knowledge in different labeling techniques will be an asset. The ability to conduct independent research and excellent communication skills are essential.

The Postdoctoral fellow will have a position of part-time assistant He/she will participate to training and teaching for undergraduate students.
