DescriptionWithin the Institute of Pathology of the University of Berne the position of an open rank assistant professor with tenure track or extraordinary professor with a special focus on "Digital Pathology" is to be filled. The Institute of Pathology offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic services and comprises several experimental and a translational research groups. The position will be embedded within the digitization strategy of the Medical Faculty. The position carries the responsibility for both the academic program in digital pathology and its development to clinical routine. | |
RequirementsThe candidates must have a strong publication record in the field of digital analysis of histological slides with a documented expertise in translational pathology. Successful acquiring of external funding is expected. The person must have good communication and collaboration skills and must be committed to the advancement of digital pathology to the clinical routine. Didactic teaching skills are required with a major commitment to develop young academics. | |
