Chargé-e d’enseignement (CE) 100%

The Analytical Sciences group of the Section of Pharmaceutical Sciences is renowned for its dynamic environment, the excellence of the research in separative methods coupled to Mass Spectrometry (MS) in the field of life sciences, particularly in Metabolomics, as well as the quality of the teaching offered to students in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Bachelor, Master and Doctorate levels.

Description

PROFILE: The position of Chargé-e d’enseignement (CE) at the Section of Pharmaceutical Sciences implies the following activities:

  • Organization and teaching of courses and practical work in Pharmaceutical Methodology for students in Bachelor, Master and PhD programs.

  • Organization of research work on the processing of data from analytical devices coupled to mass spectrometry. This work requires the use of high level statistical and chemometric tools in collaboration with metabolomics studies (Prof. S. Rudaz).

  • Supervision of Master and PhD students

  • Supervision of post-doctoral students

Requirements

FORMAL REQUIREMENTS : PhD degree with a specialization in bioinformatics.

The candidate must have advanced skills in methodology (statistics, DOE), multivariate data analysis and integration techniques (PCA, PLS, Machine Learning) from MS data. Knowledge in biochemistry, biology, toxicology, pharmaceutical sciences, biological fluid analysis, system biology approaches is a plus. Publications in the field of metabolomics are essential.
