At the University of Vienna (with 15 faculties, 4 centers, around 188 fields of study, approx. 9,700 employees and over 92,000 students), we work with a diverse IT infrastructure for research and teaching and shape the digital and open landscape for research in Austria. As part of the national project FAIR Data Austria, we are looking for an IT system architect to develop an infrastructure for long-term preservation of research-databases. In this position, you are responsible for the design and development of the front-end systems of the infrastructure. You will design the interface for the users to preserve and re-use the databases. In addition to knowledge of web development, a good feeling for usability is also important. Duration of employment: until 31.12.2022.
