Description

According to analysts, 85% of all AI projects fail.1 Because AI is one of the most investigated and fantasized topics in industry today, many R&D organizations create AI-based solutions ad hoc, without long-term vision. Success requires robust software engineering research and practice on how to make AI-based systems for the next 20 years.

As a postdoctoral researcher, you will perform research on Software Engineering for AI-based systems. You will publish results in top-level venues. You will participate in writing research proposals. You will have the opportunity to teach at the MSc level. You will work with students (MSc and PhD) as well as experienced professors. You will collaborate with partners from both academia and industry.

Requirements

  • You are a postdoctoral researcher or about to obtain your PhD in computer science or similar
  • You know and are passionate about AI
  • You have some understanding of software engineering
  • You are willing to work in a starting structure
  • You want to grow as a researcher and take the lead on specific research topics
