The Lucerne School of Business is a Swiss Centre of excellence for degree programmes and continuing education as well as research in Business and Management. It contributes to further development of people and organisations in Central Switzerland, national and international contexts. The Institute of Communication and Marketing IKM teaches, researches and develops in the field of integrated communication and marketing management. For our Competence Center Communication and Marketing Technologies, we are looking for you to start as soon as possible as

(Senior) Research Associate in Marketing Data Science - Backend Development (60-100%)

Description

  • Definition of the backend cloud architecture of two core innovation projects
  • Development and configuration of the backend framework and development pipeline (DEVOPs) to ensure security and high production quality
  • Development of software components for the integration of AI algorithms
  • Contribution to other applied research and development projects and authoring reports and publications
  • Opportunity to participate in teaching

Requirements

  • You have a Master’s degree or a PhD degree in computer science or a related discipline,
  • You bring in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure or other cloud-based software architecture and frameworks (e.g. Kafka, Spark) and have worked with UNIX-based systems,
  • You have advanced knowledge of databases such as xSQL and MongoDB,
  • skills in the use of .NET, JAVA or Python,
  • experience in DEVOPs and building and running CI/CD pipelines and
  • a high degree of personal responsibility and enjoyment of working with new technologies.
