DescriptionThe successful candidate will teach social work (at doctoral level, with some of the courses open to BA and MA students) and will co-direct the Transdisciplinary Institute of Social Work (ITTS) at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FSE).
She/he is interested in social work as a study object (with a capacity to analyse social problems and research experience in the field), with a perspective in relation to economics or a branch of management. She/he works in cooperation with the other faculties, the other disciplines and the other institutions (in particular Universities of Applied Sciences - HES). She/he is able to teach quantitative research methods (experimental, modelling, field studies, etc.), with a marked interest in the development of innovative methods. In terms of research, she/he develops fundamental research projects with competitive funding and projects oriented towards application and intervention, on specific social work issues. | |
RequirementsApplicants must hold a PhD in social work, in economics, or in management, or a qualification deemed equivalent. They demonstrate strong competence in research supervision and teaching. They have extensive experience in empirical methods and competence in evaluation, analysis, implementation and management of social work. They demonstrate a record of high-level scientific publications of international significance in social work with a strong link to economics or a branch of management. Courses will be taught
in French and English. Non-French speakers are expected to teach in French after a two-year period. | |
