Job Duties: Dr. Nick Buttrick is looking to hire a postdoctoral research associate to join his new lab, the Action Research Facility, located in the Social and Personality area of the Department of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As part of the position, the postdoc will be involved in the analysis of several large-scale datasets that track changing American beliefs, behaviors, and consumer decisions, especially as they relate to the psychology of firearms ownership. Equally-important to the position is the expectation that the postdoc will develop and lead historically- and socioecologically-informed projects of their own design, and funds will be available to robustly pursue such projects. This position is fully funded for one year and is renewable for up to two additional years, contingent on performance. Expected start date is August or September, 2022. Salary and benefits are competitive and follow NIH stipend guidelines.
