Mental Health AdvisorCambridge University Mental Health Advice Service is seeking to recruit Mental Health Advisors to support students with serious or enduring mental health problems and help them access the specialist services they need. You will work with staff in the Colleges, Counselling Service and Disability Resource Centre, as well as with Cambridge & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, to develop and enhance mental health support to students of the university. You will also be responsible for assessing students’ fitness to study when emotional or mental health problems are affecting their academic progress. This is a significant position in this large, busy and well-respected multi-disciplinary service. You will be professionally qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Mental Health Social Worker or Psychologist, and have significant relevant work experience. Recruitment is for two full-time permanent positions, as well as for one full-time fixed term position until 31.08.2024 and one 0.9FTE fixed-term position until 01.11.2023.
