School / Campus / College: University of Washington, Tacoma Organization: Milgard School of Business Title: Business Analytics/Information Systems, Lecturers, Part-time Temporary Position DescriptionThe Milgard School of Business at the University of Washington Tacoma is seeking applications from qualified candidates for non-tenure track, temporary part-time lecturer positions effective throughout the 2022-2023 academic year. The appointment period is generally in alignment with the academic quarter. The positions are dependent on curricular need and available funding. Part-time lecturers are non-voting members of the UW Tacoma faculty.The successful candidate(s) will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in topics including business data analytics, quantitative methods, information technology, data mining, and cognitive analytics. The positions may require on-site face-to-face availability for course instruction, online/hybrid instruction, and teaching assignments may include days and/or evenings. QualificationsRequired Education:Candidates should have a Master’s or PhD (or foreign equivalent) in Business or a related discipline. Required Work Experience: Candidates should have a demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness or a minimum of five years of experience in a relevant field.
