We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our expanding Information Systems Division, a department of the Liechtenstein Business School that focusses on digital innovation and transformation. Our mission is to take a distinct process science view to cover the many dynamics and various facets of digitalisation relevant for economy and society.

Description

We are looking for candidates who bring the ability, passion, and motivation to actively build a group of both regional and international impact. The applicant is expected to competently represent research, teaching and transfer in the field of Information Systems and Business Process Management.

  • In-depth knowledge of the core elements of the design, use and value creation of Information Systems in organisations.
  • Expertise in innovative teaching and learning formats, as well as a high level of enthusiasm for teaching and the personal development of students.
  • Committed to research excellence, evidence of regular contributions to internationally recognised and highly ranked publication formats.
  • Experience in successfully acquiring and delivering projects with industry partners and contributions of relevance to society at large.
  • Commitment to leadership roles at the university that arise during the career.
  • High level of networking in the scientific community and with international partners
  • A high level of engagement to solve socially relevant problems and to work in an interdisciplinary way, both at the university and beyond.
  • Ideally, understanding of the regional needs of the Rhine Valley and Liechtenstein economic area and society.

Requirements

Completed doctoral degree and – depending on the aspired rank – evidence of professorial qualification, demonstrated by, for example, tenure evaluation (or habilitation) or equivalent record.
