This role will be based on the Cambridge Biomedical campus working in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Would you like an opportunity to provide Human Resources support as part of a busy, effective and efficient Human Resources (HR) team? Are you interested in gaining experience in a range of HR skills, including recruitment and selection, employee relations and performance management? Are you customer focused with the ability to manage multiple tasks?

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Haematology and Stem Cells Institute professional services team. You will be a well organised and be able to multitask, learning to prioritise and adapt as the workload changes and in order to meet deadlines. You will provide comprehensive HR support and a pro-active and responsive service to academic, research and professional staff, and visitors.

You will have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels will liaise with key university services including Payroll, Compliance, Occupational Health and the Clinical School HR Team in order to ensure all processes are followed and maintain a high level of accuracy whilst working to deadlines. Being able to work within a small team is essential.

You will have experience of working administratively in an HR area and the ability to demonstrate both factual and theoretical knowledge of HR, including working with multiple processes and to tight regulations. You will be educated to HND / HNC level, level 4 / 5 vocational qualification or an equivalent level of practical experience.

You will be self-motivated and used to dealing with highly confidential information and will be a competent user of Microsoft Office.
