Position Summary/Purpose of Position: The Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence & Security ( ARLIS ) - a University Affiliated Research Center ( UARC ) under the UMD Vice President of Research ( VPR ) seeks to hire a Cloud Engineering Specialist to support the Acquisition and Industrial Security (A&IS) Mission Area. We seek talented professionals who can work with a team to support the research, construction, implementation, test, documentation, and maintenance of socio-technical solutions that provide highly impactful capabilities for the special operations and intelligence community. Specifically, much of our work focuses on policy and implementation relating to manufacturing, data and knowledge engineering, model-based systems engineering, digital supply chains, and library science.
