The Department of Curriculum & Instruction, University of Victoria invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor in Art Education. This is a full-time teaching stream appointment to commence July 1, 2025, or as soon as possible after that date. The position requires a team player who will provide intellectual and organizational leadership to complement the work and focus of the current faculty members and programs. We are seeking an innovative colleague whose expertise and experience in the area of Art Education demonstrates:

The Art Education section is involved in a strong undergraduate teacher preparation program with introductory studio-based Art Education courses that are also open to the full campus community; a unique studio-focused MEd degree; and a research-orientated M.A. and PhD.
