The development and application of social robots, for example in education, healthcare, entertainment, or industry, are also part of this field. DutiesThe role involves contributing to, developing, and ultimately leading research and teaching within the subject field, including course development and supervision of doctoral students. Teaching duties include, in addition to courses in human-robot interaction, courses in AI and machine learning, as well as supervision of bachelor’s and master’s theses. The associate professor is expected to apply for and secure external research funding to establish and grow a research group.
