The Bioethics and Law Observatory of the UB (OBD) reaches its 25th anniversary this year. This research centre works for the analysis of the ethical, legal and social consequences of biotechnology and biomedicine in an interdisciplinary manner and from laic perspectives. The aim of this task is to provide a reason and proposal to promote a free and informed decision-taking and to contribute to build a more transparent and democratic society.
