COVID’s Impact on International Relations

This event will be broadcast live on this page. You can also watch this event live on the UC Berkeley Facebook page.
The Covid 19 pandemic is the first truly global crisis of the 2020s. It is causing damage and disruption on a massive scale and exacerbating many pre-existing issues on the global account as well as raising new challenges, only some of which are making headlines. But Covid is also opening new opportunities for re-thinking transnational cooperation, global institutions, and foreign policy agendas and priorities in national capitals around the world. This panel discussion will feature three Berkeley faculty experts who will examine and analyze the virus’ impact on international relations and trade, as well as America’s place and standing in the world.
