Journalists are cordially invited to attend an information session on Wednesday 19 June at 15.30 CEST.
The information session is expected to cover: the use of Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana for mini and micro launchers by European commercial launch companies; the appointment of an independent ESA ethics ombudsperson; the evolution of ESA’s industrial policy to boost the competitiveness of the European space industry; and approval of ESA’s financial accounts for 2023.
The ESA Council meeting is also due to discuss progress towards establishing an operational space weather system in Europe, ESA’s strategy for 2040 and how ESA can best help its individual member states.
