Media invitation: Juice launch media opportunities

ESA’s JUpiter ICy moons Explorer (Juice) will launch from Europe’s Spaceport at Kourou in French Guiana on Thursday 13 April 2023.
Journalists are invited to join the online pre-launch press briefings on 6 April 2023 and to participate in a European launch event on 13 April 2023 at ESA’s European Space Operations Centre in Darmstadt, Germany.
Please note that journalists wishing to attend several of the events mentioned below should register for each activity separately to ensure that they receive the right link/information for each event.

Online pre-launch press briefing per language

- Online pre-launch media briefing in English (Thursday 6 April, 14:00-15:00 CEST)

Programme - Thursday 13 April 2023 (all times in CEST)
10:00 - Arrival media
10:30 - Media briefing in the press centre
11:30 - Interview opportunities
13.30 - Start of the stage programme in the conference centre
14.15 - Launch of Juice on board Ariane 5
16:00 - Further interview opportunities ESA spokespeople and experts, as well as spokespeople from Arianespace, Airbus and other partners, will be available on site for interviews.
In the event of one-day launch delay, the programme above will be held again on Friday 14 April.

The English pre-launch press briefing, as well as the launch, will be streamed via ESA Web TV.

Please express interest by 5 April at 17:00 CEST for the English, French, German and Italian pre-launch press briefings and by 10 April for the European Launch Event , by selecting and completing the relevant form at https://blogs.esa.int/forms/esa-­media-brie­fing-form.
