Meet our new faculty: Steven Ross Murray, physical education

Name: Steven Ross Murray
Degrees: B.S. from U. of North Alabama, 1991; M.S., 1993, and Doctor of Arts, 1996, from Middle Tennessee State U.
Research interests: My research centers around physical activity and wellness, particularly sport in the ancient world, especially ancient Greece and Rome. Other interests involve athletic injuries, recovery modalities, and fitness testing.
Fun fact: This fall I plan to complete my 10th IRONMAN triathlon at the IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. It is the third year in a row where I have qualified for the World Championship.
