UCL is gearing up for a significant change in how internal services are found, requested and managed - with new platform MyServices, a replacement for previous system Remedyforce, scheduled to go live with Finance Services next week.

The transition, which will be rolled out in phases, marks a critical step towards improving users’ experience of locating and interacting with UCL services.

Following the successful migration of the Ioe’s Delivery Partners into MyServices last month, finance service requests will be available from 16 July, with other services, from IT support to HR management, to follow in the coming weeks.

To mark the launch, Aimie Chapple, Vice President of Operations at UCL, released a video this week in which she discusses the imminent new platform.

What Finance support queries can you raise in MyServices?

Within MyServices, users can expect various finance support queries to be addressed, including:
  • Technical support for MyFinance;
  • Assistance from PS Hub finance teams, such as NHS Billing and Accounts Payable
  • Requests to the One Desk Finance Transaction Team (formerly PS Hub BOS Finance);
  • Support for the Axiom system;
  • Access requests for finance systems; and
  • Submissions to create and amend project codes.

Please note: the following requests will initially not be available in MyServices. Please continue to use the existing processes and we will share further updates once the requests are in MyServices:
  • The new supplier request form - continue to raise via RemedyForce.

While you will continue to use MyFinance for financial transactions, MyServices will better enable you to report issues and queries, track their progress and receive updates through the platform.

Can I still email finance requests?

Yes, you will still be able to email finance service requests using the usual support email addresses with the exception of Axiom  and NHS Billing , which will both be discontinued. These services will be accessed via the MyServices portal. For the best experience, you are recommended to use MyServices as you will be able to manage and monitor your requests in real-time.

Where can I access further information on these changes?

In a new video released this week, Aimie Chapple, Vice President of Operations at UCL, discusses the imminent launch of the new platform.

In the video, Aimie introduces MyServices as a key project spearheaded by Marc Biebeck and his team, who have been collaborating closely with various teams and departments across UCL - including Human Resources, Finance, and ISD.

MyServices is set to modernise the way services are accessed and managed within our institution, marking a significant shift towards the adoption of a single, user-friendly portal where staff can navigate to the right services and manage their requests seamlessly online.
