On 27September, the ESA facility in Italy, dedicated to Earth observation programmes, will open its doors to visitors for the annual ESA Open Day at ESRIN , coinciding with the European Researchers’ Night.
Experts and science communicators will present ESA’s activities and programmes, along with projects from the space industry.
Among the guests will be Anthea Comellini and Andrea Patassa , who will share how they were selected as members of the ESA Astronaut Reserve in November 2022.
A rich schedule of activities awaits visitors, offering the opportunity to explore how ESA’s scientific research and space exploration programmes contribute daily to improving our lives and helping us better understand our planet and the Universe. Throughout the event, communicators and experts supporting ESA will guide guests with in-depth presentations, quizzes, and exciting interviews.
To access the ESA site, guests must register and choose a time slot, either 17:00-19:45 or 20:00-22:45.
