Sussex media graduates showcase work at design conference

Media Practice graduates from the University of Sussex partnered with other local students to showcase their final-year work to more than 1,000 conference delegates.

The new graduates from the School of Media, Film and Music (MFM) were invited to collaborate with students from the University of Brighton and Sussex Downs College to present their work at the annual Reasons to be Creative conference at the Brighton Dome last month.

Reasons to be Creative, part of Brighton Digital Festival 2013 , brings together some of the world’s most talented web designers, coders, creative film-makers, animators, illustrators and digital artists.

Since 2006, students from MFM have volunteered at the conference, where they are able to gain valuable experience and widen their professional network.

They have also benefitted from presentations from a range of industry professionals working for companies such as Adobe and Microsoft, as well as renowned designers including Neville Brody, Stefan Sagmeister and Erik Spiekermann.
