University of Washington glaciologists will join colleagues from around the country in a new effort to discover Antarctica's oldest ice and learn more about the history of our planet's climate.

A new University of Birmingham-led research project has been launched to examine the impact of psychological support on the mental wellbeing of people affected by modern slavery. Carried out in collaboration with the Rights Lab at the University of Nottingham , Anti-Slavery International, West Midlands Anti-Slavery Network and the Survivor Alliance, a key element of the project is the inclusion of people with lived experience of modern slavery in research as peer researchers.
