The Department of Ecoscience, Aarhus University, invites applications for a full-time postdoc for a period of 1.5 years. Expected start date and duration of employmentThis is a full-time position starting on 1 July 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.Job descriptionYou will contribute to research on a project aimed at assessing cumulative impact of offshore windfarms on marine ecosystem productivity and food web. The work will consider the impacts of stressors to marine systems, especially related to offshore wind farms, and how they propagate through and disrupt the food web. You will be a part of the marine group that covers research and advisory tasks across the marine environment mainly related to the Baltic Sea and the North Sea.You will be involved in the further development and application of cumulative impact assessment model using food webs, which is intended to assess impact of multi-stressors on trophic and non-trophic interactions networks. The modelling will be primarily based on weighed network models. Additionally, you will be involved in sampling cruises in the North Sea. These activities will be conducted in close collaboration with the modelling group and other colleagues at the department as well as international partners. Further, it is expected that you can collaborate broadly with stakeholders in the design of scenarios and for management purposes.
