This position requires candidates to have a doctorate in a relevant academic discipline, alongside either a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Practice in Higher Education (or its equivalent), or Fellowship of Advance HE. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, and enhancing research, teaching, and scholarly activities within the Pharmacy School, with particular emphasis on Pharmacology. Applicants should be recognised for their expertise and have an established research profile at the national level. Aston is preparing to launch an undergraduate degree in Pharmacology, and the appointed Senior Lecturer will play a key part in delivering and further developing Pharmacology teaching within the School. With Aston’s strong research presence in Neuroscience and Neuropharmacology, the successful applicant will also be expected to actively contribute to the department’s research profile. Aston Pharmacy School is a leading UK provider of education and research in pharmacy, neuroscience, and pharmacology. This appointment offers the opportunity to join one of the foremost Pharmacy Schools in the country.
