Vacancy Type Fixed Term Function Administrative and Secretarial (SC) Proposed Advert End Date 15 Apr 2026 About the Role:Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing DivisionRecruitment, Outreach and Events Recruitment Events Officer Ref: (SC4969) Salary on appointment will be £31,236 per annum, with an annual increment up to £37,694 per annum. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Events Officer to join the Recruitment Events Team. Key duties of the role include the delivery of undergraduate student recruitment events such as Open Days and Applicant Days. You will work closely with closely with Admissions Directors, along with a number of key internal and external stakeholders. You will oversee the coordination, briefing and supervision of student ambassadors for all recruitment events. You will have experience of events management and working in a customer facing role, along with excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. This full-time post is available from 22 June 2026 to cover the maternity leave of the current post holder, and is available for approximately 12 months. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Child Barred List. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
