The Department of Neurology at Columbia University Medical Center is seeking applications for a junior-level clinical faculty position at the rank of Instructor in Neurology and Chief Resident . This role provides an exceptional opportunity for candidates to gain leadership experience while contributing to the department's clinical, educational, and academic missions. Responsibilities: •Provide high-quality patient care within the Department of Neurology •Serve as Chief Resident , leading and mentoring neurology residents and medical students •Design and implement educational programs for trainees, including teaching rounds, didactic sessions, and case conferences •Actively participate in departmental and institutional activities , including quality improvement initiatives and faculty meetings •Engage in clinical research or scholarly activities, as appropriate Minimum Degree Required: MD and/or PhD Minimum Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology Active or eligible New York State (NYS) medical license prior to start date DEA license (or eligibility for DEA registration) Ability to meet NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital’s Medical Staff Office credentialing requirements before the start date Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership skills, a commitment to medical education, and excellence in clinical care.
