Role DescriptionDepartmentThe School for Business and Society is one of the largest academic units at the University of York. Housed in the Church Lane Building, this innovative merger between the York Management School and the Social Policy and Social Work Department brings together almost 300 academic and professional support staff.Working under the line management of the Admin Coordinator, you would provide a responsive, proactive and high-quality administrative service, across a range of tasks and activities within the School. As a busy and varied role, you will work closely with a variety of stakeholders across SBS and the University. You will be expected to provide a high level of customer service at all times, with a friendly, approachable, ’can-do’ attitude. You must be able to work flexibly and accurately, under pressure and to tight deadlines - both independently and as part of the team. As a flexible role, you may be required to support colleagues within the team during periods of high activity or staff absence. The role is offered on a full-time, fixed term basis for 12 months as a maternity cover. Role
