Research Café: Creative Methods of Research Dissemination and Evaluation
On 7 September, Creative Manchester will be hosting an in-person event exploring creative research methods and how these methods can be used at different stages of the research process. If you have ever considered presenting your research in alternate formats and styles to the written word, this workshop can help you discover innovative and exciting ways to creatively conduct, present, and evaluate your research. These creative research methods could help achieve better engagement and accessibility. For example, have you ever considered translating research into a graphic novel or creating a video project to disseminate results? There are countless creative research methods to discover in this research café. By attending this research café, you will also connect with like-minded people interested in creative methods of research, practice, dissemination, and evaluation. You will also have the opportunity to learn about ongoing Creative Manchester research and its impact. The research café will feature a distinguished panel of speakers: Sophie Woodward (Professor of Sociology, The University of Manchester) carries out research into fashion, clothing, the home, material culture, and everyday consumption.
