'Ringo', a robot developed at the TU Ilmenau to support stroke patients during rehabilitation On November 28, 6:30 pm, the panel discussion "Robots as helpers in care?" will take place in the University Library Ilmenau. In view of the shortage of skilled workers in the care and healthcare sectors scientists around the world are researching robots to support nursing staff. The discussion will answer the question of what such care robots can already do today, but also whether it is ethically justifiable to leave the care of people to robots. The panel discussion is organized in cooperation with TU Ilmenau, the Catholic Forum in Thuringia and the Catholic Student Community "Thomas Morus". Admission is free.
