Photo ENS de Lyon - For many years strong links have been established between the Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences of the University of Tokyo and UMPA (Unité de Mathématiques Pures et Appliquées de l'ENS Lyon). After two successful meetings in Lyon (2011) and Tokyo (2013), a third symposium was organized this year in Lyon, June 24 & 25th, aimed at a general mathematical audience. The organizing committee was composed of: Emmanuel Giroux, UMPA, étienne Ghys, UMPA and Takashi Tsuboi, Todai, with the financial support of Région Rhône-Alpes and Labex Milyon. More - Program : Alessandro Carderi (UMPA): Sofic entropy and profinite actions Mikael De la Salle (UMPA): Rigidity of group actions on Banach spaces Yoshikata Kida (Todai): Inner amenable groups and stable orbit equivalence relations Hidetoshi Masai (Todai): Harmonic measure of the set of lifted projective measured foliations Grégory Miermont (UMPA): Compact Brownian surfaces Vincent Pilloni (UMPA): The spectral halo Yuhei Suzuki (Todai): Construction of minimal skew products of amenable minimal dynamical systems Yuichiro Tanaka: Visible actions on flag varieties
