Admissions tutors video diary update

Oxford's admissions tutors video diary page has been updated, with the first video diary entry from Engineering tutor Byron Byrne online today. Oxford University is releasing a series of video diaries showing what the interview process is like for the admissions tutors selecting students as that process unfolds. The first video went live on 8 December , and updates will continue to be posted for the next week. Today's entry features Dr Byron Byrne, who is the admissions coordinator for Engineering in St Catherine's College, as well as a tutor for admissions in the Engineering faculty. Around 10,000 students who have been shortlisted in their chosen subjects will be attending interviews in Oxford over the next two weeks. Over this period, a pair of admissions tutors will discuss what the admissions process is through their eyes - 'it's a very intense time,' says Dr Byrne.
