Professor Ian Young, Vice-Chancellor of The Australian National University and Lucille Halloran, Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Canberra have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement will see both parties contribute to advisory services across all Australian States and Territories, working together to respond to potential consulting requests. Professor Michael Cardew-Hall, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Innovation and Advancement) said that the agreement recognises the potential of strengthened and strategic collaborative activity. The agreement is a non-exclusive arrangement, giving ANU room to partner strategically with a range of groups where appropriate and mutually beneficial. 'Both parties bring world class brands, expertise, networks and experience to the collaboration. The University will benefit from the strong reputation of Ernst & Young in consulting, and they in turn will benefit by accessing Australia's highly ranked researchers in a broad range of expertise.'
