Around 1000 students will graduate at this week's ceremonies.
Around 1000 students will have awards conferred at The Australian National University's graduation ceremonies to be held at Llewellyn Hall on Thursday and Friday. Two ceremonies will be held tomorrow. The first, at 10am, is for graduates of the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences. At 2pm graduates from the ANU College of Business and Economics will receive their awards. Awards for students from the ANU College of Medicine, Biology and Environment, College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and the College of Engineering and Computer Science will be conferred at 10am on Friday. The awards for graduates from the ANU College of Law and the College of Asia and the Pacific will be conferred at 2pm. Guest speakers at Thursday's ceremonies are Ms Martine Letts, Deputy Director of the Lowy Institute, at the morning ceremony and Dr Don Russell, Independent Chairperson of State Super at the 2pm ceremony.
