Any-Body Month launches at The University of Nottingham
PA 37/10 People of all abilities are being encouraged to try different sports this month at The University of Nottingham. March is Any-Body Month at the University. Disabled and non-disabled staff, students and members of the local community are being given the chance to try different sports across the three UK campuses. Everyone is welcome at the three Any-Body events, regardless of ability. Sports available as a taster session include: Boccia - a game similar to bowls and petanque, which can be played from a wheelchair or by those with disabilities affecting motor skills The Any-Body events take place at Sutton Bonington campus on Wednesday March 10, at Jubilee Campus on Wednesday March 17, and at University Park Sports Centre on Wednesday March 24. As well as offering taster sessions to those wanting to try a new sport, the events will also feature professional athletes giving tips and advice about their sport.
