’Pathways of Thought ’ by Jamie Kawadler, last year’s winning image
A collection of artistic research images is now on display in the South Cloisters. These images are all entrants to the Graduate School's annual competition: 'Research Images as Art/Art Images as Research'. The exhibition, which runs until Friday 14 December, gives graduate students and staff from all faculties the chance to show off their aesthetically-appealing research images. Previous winners have come from all across the university. David Bogle, Head of the Graduate School, commented on the competition: "The Graduate School's Research Images Competition is a wonderful community event for our graduate students and staff. Each year it produces a wealth of interesting and beautiful images, highlighting the diversity of the exciting research being undertaken across UCL." A £250 prize will be awarded to the best entry, along with six runner-up prizes of £150. The entrants will be judged on Wednesday 12 December, and visitors can vote for the winner of the 'People's Prize'.
