Audit family-friendly university

It's finally here! For the third time in a row, the University of Stuttgart has been awarded the audit certificate for family-friendly universities, a Europe-wide quality seal for a family-friendly study environment and a family-conscious employment policy. Following the official award ceremony, Rector Prof. Wolfram Ressel, Chancellor Jan Gerken and Equality Officer Prof. Nicole Radde said: "This will serve as daily motivation!" Theresia Bauer, Science Minister in Baden-Württemberg also offered her congratulations: "I would like to congratulate the University of Stuttgart for being awarded this audit certificate, recognizing it as a family-friendly university. Together with numerous universities research institutions in Baden-Württemberg, the University of Stuttgart has been recognized for its family-friendly working and studying conditions. Our universities are sending a positive signal, showing that it is possible to unite academia, studying at university, and family life in the state of Baden-Württemberg, presenting themselves as modern employers and higher educational facilities."
