Australia’s future survey extended to end of May »
A major survey on the future of Australia has been extended by one month to give more people a chance to voice their opinions about the issues that really matter to them ahead of the federal election. With an election due to be called within days, the survey is a chance for people to tell politicians and policy makers about the direction they would like the country to take. The Australia: Our Future, Your Voice survey is being run by researchers from The Australian National University (ANU), and gives people the choice of four scenarios about the direction of the nation. "We want to hear from people all over the country to find their thoughts on a range of issues," said senior researcher Ian Chambers. "The survey aims to stimulate a national discussion the about the kind of future Australians really want, and to guide governments, business and community leaders." The Australia: Our Future, Your Voice survey is available online between until the end of May at www.anuscenarioplanning.com.
