Bright Club event at the Bloomsbury Theatre

Bright Club: The UK event is coming to the Bloomsbury Theatre on 18 May. Four of the hottest talents from outside London will take on four UCL performers to find out which city does funny best. This special gig is to celebrate the Bright Clubs emerging all over the UK. Since the UCL Public Engagement Unit set up Bright Club three years ago, there have been 40 events, the unit have trained over 200 staff and students, and spin-off events have been held in 12 cities. It also won the UCL Social Enterprise of the Year Award, 2011. Bright Club's first appearance was in May 2009 on the theme of Lust , since then topics have included: London, Time, Film, Crime and Sea. Podcasts are available once a week, and can be downloaded via iTunes or an RSS feed.
