Canberra’s newest independent bookstore

Opening in early 2019, Harry Hartog at The Australian National University will be your new go-to destination for discovering the greatest stories of our time. With the largest range of new and second-hand books in Canberra, Harry Hartog will stock text books to graphic novels, gifts to stationery and everything in between. Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor Marnie Hughes-Warrington is delighted to have Harry Hartog join ANU - and not just because she is an avid reader and book lover. "We're thrilled to have Harry Hartog join the University in the new Kambri precinct - their bookstores create a meeting place between the worlds found inside books and the world around us," Professor Hughes-Warrington said. "This ethos fits perfectly with our vision for our campus and the new Kambri precinct. Traditionally a 'meeting place' for First Nations Peoples, we hope our newest precinct will continue to be a place where connections are made and our Canberra community gathers to learn, teach and celebrate. The Kambri precinct will be a great home for Harry Hartog." With their grand opening to the public only five months away, Harry Hartog General Manager and Canberra local, James Redden, is busy organising delivery of academic text books for Semester 1 next year.
