CPJ at 30: From the Frontlines to Online, March. 4
Please join the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) and Columbia University in celebrating CPJ's 30 years of defending press freedom worldwide. Friday, March 4, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The afternoon consists of two panel discussions with leading journalists on the challenges and victories for press freedom. The first, "Looking Back: 30 Years of Covering War," will be moderated by Dan Rather. The second, "Looking Ahead: Social Media and Revolution," will be moderated by Jacob Weisberg. A wine and cheese reception will follow.
