For the fourth time, the University of Salzburg, in cooperation with the City Archive, is offering an exhibition on Markartsteg. This year, "Knowledge Bridge" is a theme within the framework of Salzburg 2016, which marks the end some 50 years ago of the labor recruitment agreement with Yugoslavia. Im Jahr 1966 schloss Österreich ein Anwerbeabkommen mit Jugoslawien. Auf diese Weise kamen zahlreiche ArbeitsmigrantInnen nach Salzburg. Viele von ihnen blieben hier und gründeten Familien, weitere Frauen und Männer folgten.
