Franco-Chinese Cultural Forum - 2nd Year

For the first time ever, the city of Lyon will host the Franco-Chinese Cultural Forum - «the cultural silk road, the Franco-Chinese encounter". The event, the second of its kind, will take place on September 26 and 27, 2017. It was set up through the initiative of the FPI (La Fondation Prospective et Innovation) headed by Jean-Pierre Raffarin. This multi-disciplinary event will bring together hundreds of French and Chinese political, cultural and economic key players, to discuss initiatives helping both countries to work closely together. Organisers: - WRSA - Western Returned Scholars Association Yishu8 - Arts Center from Beijing FPI - Fondation Prospective et Innovation The City of Lyon and the Lyon Metropolis and their operator in Franco-Chinese relations, the New Franco-Chinese Institute (Nouvel Institut Franco-Chinois). The first forum, held in 2016 in Beijing, mainly addressed cultural issues. This year, the Franco-Chinese Cultural Forum has opened up to new disciplines on the theme of "Territorial Culture and Attractiveness".
