Internal meeting on University Quarter and SMP

The UvA has been working with the City of Amsterdam, West 8 urban development agency and various internal and external stakeholders to develop the University Quarter Strategic Master Plan (SMP) over the past few years. The document will be available for inspection and consultation at the municipality in March. In preparation for this moment, we will be organising an online meeting on the content of the SMP and current developments in the University Quarter (UQ) for all current and future UQ students and employees on 1 March. Strategic Masterplan. This plan outlines the rationale for the various ensuing sub-projects on the basis of our strategic principles. These include the design of the university buildings and public spaces, as well as issues such as mobility, logistics and sustainability. We will be explaining these basic principles in more detail during the meeting and outlining the plan's implications for the UvA and its students and employees. How will the UQ benefit the city? How will this new vision impact our buildings, the way we work in future and the distribution of UvA functions and facilities throughout the area? Current developments in the University Quarter .
