International Law in Times of Populism

Fifth Event of Joint Speaker Series at Freie Universität Berlin and Indiana University on July 4, 2017, in Berlin-Kreuzberg. ' 166/2017 from Jun 19, 2017 On Tuesday, July 4, 2017, legal scholar Heike Krieger from Freie Universität and the legal scholar and political scientist Prof. David Bosco from Indiana University (USA) will discuss the topic "International Law in Times of Populism." The discussion will be moderated by Reinhard Müller, a lawyer and journalist for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung . The discussion will take place as part of a joint speaker series being organized by Freie Universität and Indiana University during the 2016/2017 academic year. Five events are being held in Indiana and in Berlin, where scholars from both universities will address issues of international politics in English. The events are public, and admission is free. International treaties and organizations, and in some cases, even the idea of international law are being called into question.
